3 Step Process. Also known as the 3 Step Rewind. Experiences of pregnancy, birth, or early parenthood don’t always go as planned. Sometimes difficult memories or feelings can stay with you, affecting your confidence or wellbeing. The Birthing Awareness 3 Step Process is a gentle, structured approach that can help release negative emotions and allow you to move forward feeling calmer and more in control.

Our programme takes place over three sessions

This process is rooted in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a therapy technique that explores how the mind processes memories and emotions. By gently revisiting your experience in a safe and supported way, the 3 Step Process helps to break the connections that may be triggering ongoing stress, anxiety, or fear.

Session One

Sharing and relaxation

You are invited to share your story in a safe and non-judgemental space. Together we will explore how you would like to feel if you were free of the negative emotions or fears you are experiencing. We finish with a calming practice relaxation.

Session Two

The Rewind

Using the rewind technique, I gently guide you back through the memory in a way that feels safe and controlled. This helps to loosen and break the links between the memory and the difficult feelings or symptoms it may trigger.

Session Three

Reflection and relaxation

A check-in session to see how you are feeling after the process, giving space for reflection and a final guided relaxation to help you move forward with confidence.
