About us
Hello, I'm Kerry
I’m midwife behind Moon & Meadow Midwifery.
I’ve always been fascinated by pregnancy and birth: a powerful, physiological process that transcends class and country. To me, it’s a time where instinct meets science, where ancient wisdom sits alongside modern research, and where every family deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported.
Supporting Families Through Every Stage of Pregnancy and Beyond
I qualified as a midwife in 2014, after beginning my training in Cambridge in 2011. Over the years I’ve cared for families across every setting the NHS has to offer; from community clinics and homebirth teams to antenatal and postnatal wards, to midwife-led birth centres and busy labour wards. For the past three years, I’ve stepped outside of the NHS, working privately with a small caseload of clients to provide the kind of unhurried, personalised care I’ve always believed in.
Flexible Midwifery Services Tailored to Your Needs
What I love most is watching people discover their strength: whether that’s overcoming feeding challenges, managing a complex pregnancy, or birthing their baby in a way they only dared hope for. My role is to walk alongside you, giving you the time, information, advocacy, and encouragement to make the choices that feel right for your family.
NHS Trained, Privately Practising With Personalised Care
Families who choose Moon & Meadow Midwifery value not only the continuity of care, but also the flexibility of services. From antenatal and postnatal packages to one-off appointments, private blood tests, overnight postnatal support, antenatal education, and even birth trauma recovery through the Birthing Awareness 3 Step Process. This breadth of choice means your care is truly yours to shape.
A Care Philosophy Rooted in Confidence and Compassion
Outside of midwifery, I live in Linton with my husband and our Samoyed, Nimbus. I’m an eternal optimist, passionate and positive (with copious amounts of humour thrown in). I love exploring new places on dog walks, but I’m equally happy as a self-confessed “couch potato” watching documentaries, listening to podcasts, or playing board games with too many snacks.
When our care together comes to an end, I want you to be left with confidence. As I like to say, I’m a bit like Nanny McPhee: “When you need me but do not want me, I will stay. When you want me but do not need me, then I have to go.”
